so on the first of july, it was grand floridian's (another wdw resort) 25th anniversary and only grand floridian cast members could participate in the buffet and sort of "gala" if you may call it. so being entertainment cast members..... my polynesian team and i managed to get in and boy, the buffet feast was fantastic. they had pulled pork!!!!
when jolyn said that it was gf's 25th anni, i told the cast members i was working with during that shift and we decided to head down seeing we had time before we had to clock out. what are the chances man, that i like the only shift with a 1 hour gap before you could clock out. we were expecting maybe a cater or something but not a full fledged buffet in the ballroom

yeah so the picture was taken in the hospital obviously.. the wheelchair and all should be obvious enough. well this isnt something i would want to talk about any more since it took me a helluva long time to get over and my mind has already dealt with the fact that it is over. so yeah literally no image flashes thru my mind even if i talk a bit. like you know how when you talk about something and the memory of it just flashes in your head? yeah doesn't happen to me anymore in this case. mind has decided to block it out good job BUT my head will always start to feel numb if i do (even this even makes sense)
well this was a lesson learnt so as to speak but i am extremely grateful to those who did not probe regardless whether they knew/didnt know what happened. for those that expressed their concerns too, thanks. it was a tough time thou, since it was pretty much a series of events put together. not being able to walk properly for a week was rather awful. but as the saying goes, 'the going gets tough and the tough gets going'
sheryl and kim hui decided that outback steakhouse would be a great choice for therapy so they wheeled (stupid legs were taking such a huge toll on me) me over across the scary road

see what i mean when they give you 1/3 of the whole broccoli. but the steak is fantastic. they will just change it for you if the wellness is not to your liking. so i ordered 9 oz and ate 3 oz and went to change to a fresh 9 oz so i ended up eating 12 oz of steak

sigh depressing flight to chicago on my own. my first long distance flight by myself. 26 miserable hours of flight plus 7 hours of transit ON MY OWWWWNNN. not that i am being a loser by complaining about being alone but hey i was going thru a tough time and i had no one to talk to. ok i had wifi thou...

then my 5 hour transit in hong kong in the middle of the night. saw myself shopping at zara and bought moon cakes for mom.... well i must commend cathay pacific air for the good flight i had. excluding the fact that i sat beside 2 elderly who kept GOING TO THE TOILET AT DIFFERENT TIMING. i was able to get free cup noodles though major plus points!!!
my flight from hk to singapore saw me having a VERY SPACIOUS SEAT!
