marking my achievements #1

today, i have decided to start marking down my achievements

not particularly achievements like getting first in class or something (side note: i got 2nd in class when i was 11 years old. just saying) hahahaha

but achievements on things i have done in life that i have not been taught.

it will be in the area of odd-jobs


on sunday, the washing line snapped. 'cause zijun pulled on it when i told her not to >:( hahaha

today, i went to robert dyas to buy a new washing line but i forgot about cable ties

however, sam and i managed to get the new washing line up using shit i found around the kitchen.

1. we used garden shears to cut away the snapped line
2. used a mini step ladder found in the store room
3. used the garden shears to thread in the new line 'cause she wasnt tall enough (my help obviously not needed as i am a human corgi/dachshund)
4. i tied knots using the washing line and used the fat rubber bands to tie the line together 
5. managed to some how get the line to tighten itself (flag raising style)
6. used even more rubber bands to tie the other end of the line to the pole
7. we spent close to 5 minutes trying to cut off the excess line using the shears (washing line legit steel) 
8. putting cable tie-less washing line to the test tomorrow by having sam wash her bed sheets 

so proud of us for being all DIY hahahhaha happy st paddy's day!
