so it started off with birmingham (to visit zijun's cuz), (portsmouth) and a lots of other places that are too far/expensive to go to
we ended up with............
nottingham!!
to visit poor jenna becoz she was abandoned by yi hui hahaha
made our ticket bookings on the 29th of december and set off before the crack of dawn on nye. i mean literally, we left the house at 5.30ish in the morning. i wanted to throw the trash out but it was -3 degrees and the bins were annoyingly frozen shutz
there we began a horrible 4 hour train ride up north
the view was however, stunning!
we saw sun rise we saw snow
met up with jenna and we went to have lunch @ chopstix noodle bar and chatime!!!! eep
then begun the annoying walk back from the hostel becoz snow. snow. annoying.
while jenna and i were balloon hunting
i love my coat. it's so squishy with all the supposed duck feathers inside. makes me feel like a marshmallow hahaha
back to the hostel for a sofa-carrying-and-dropping night
the next day, we caught night @ the museum!!! and i had chatime again WHEE
then we went for drinks and bought food and went back
spent the whole night playing cards and finally called it a night hahahhaa we are such boring people (well, we as in, the people from winchester)
on the last day of our 3d2n "rendezvous", we had sushi and shopped around before heading to the train station
oh, and jenna and i skyped over to li chuang's 21st birthday party!!! awww so much misses :-(
kinda pooped that i am going to be missing out on so much parties this year sigh.
i had so much food i was on the verge of just exploding into pieces
the end of the most unprompted trip
on a side note,
finally broke into my rain gear today!!! (wellies and rain coat) was raining when sam and i decided to go to the supermarket
till then, if i get any more excitement in my boring life x
