UK Journey

it has been somehow 6 weeks since i left sg? i think.

feels like 6 months f'shure. am now sitting in my quarantined room because i am down with the flu. shitloads of assignments waiting for me to tend to but....

from the beginning:

at the airport. much mixed feelings. spent the last day in singapore at home with the fam. am really touched many turned up to send us off and we are all feeling real bad we didnt get to spend much time with everyone. real happy my aunt and cousin managed to come as well.

many thanks to those who rushed down from work/school, to those to hung out at the airport prior to the departure and those who patiently waited for a photo opp haha, and those who texted/called because they couldnt make it

then it begun,  7 hour journey to doha and another 7 hours to london

and this is our huge group of senders

if i hadnt made it clear before, i'd say it again. i hate flying

upon arrival, we waited a few freaking hours at the airport before boarding our bus to winchester

thereafter, proceeded to lug our baggages up the entire High Street to our agent for our keys

after getting the keys, we took a cab back to our place (which would have been a 35-40 minutes walk). the condition of our house when we first stepped in was HORRENDOUS. the amount of dust and spiders that have settled down before us is terrible. so out we go to splurge on cleaning necessities and shit. unfortunately the supermarket that we know of and saw was Waitrose, which happened to be like The Marketplace of sg. which meant much $$$$$ flew away. the shengshiong of UK was just located right beside waitrose and we did not see it until a few days later.

went back to high street to get our bedsheets etc and off home to clean up. spent at least 3 days trying to clean the entire house and get it proper and neat.

on the 14th of September,

we took a short 1 hour bus ride to Southampton and visited ikea as well

dropped by abbey gardens before we headed home

the flowers there were incredibly pretty *_*
